artworks-000054510465-ofmn61-t500x500I love Saigon Kick and I love Jason Bieler. Just throwin that tidbit out there. Owl Stretching, otherwise known as the “Jason Bieler Recording Project” (Not really but that sounds pretty cool, yeah?), continues to astound and amaze with a pair of songs released within weeks of each other. First up is an anthemic little tune by the name of “Keep Calm And Carry On” aping on the recent “Keep Calm…” craze. It’s a little more straight up rock/pop then “All At Once”, “Satellite”, or the way out there cover of Oasis’ “Wonderwall”.

Speaking of covers, next up is the OS version of ELO’s “Don’t Bring Me Down” which, if you’re familiar with the previously mentioned cover, sounds nothing like the original. Think of The Beatles at their most spaced out when listening to this one.

You can hear both the tracks in the stream below along with the other songs the “band” has released thus far. They’re all awesome.
