A new De La Soul song or video is always cause for celebration around these parts.
“Get Away,” the first single from You’re Welcome, the pioneering trio’s first album in a decade, now has a visual attached to it.
In typical odd De La fashion, Pos, Dave and Maseo are rapping from inside a Rubik’s Cube. It may sound weird, but it works. The clip is strangely arresting. The song is, of course, banging, and we’re looking forward to whatever else De La has up their collective sleeve leading up to You’re Welcome’s release.
