I feel like Talib Kweli’s Prisoner of Conscious has been pushed back eleventy billion times, but it looks like the veteran Brooklyn rapper’s latest solo album is soon to see the light of day. Kweli has joined forces with R&B don of the moment Miguel for a fun springlike jam entitled “Come to Me.” Featuring Kweli’s nimble word flow and Miguel’s seductive falsetto, this is tailor made for radio (if radio were to ever get wise and play Talib Kweli.) Even if this song isn’t all over the airwaves in a few weeks, be comforted by the fact that it should be. This bodes well for Conscious, which should finally hit stores at the beginning of May.
