As if it weren’t enough of a gift to be on the cusp of a brand-new Ben Folds Five record, the reformed piano-rock trio’s first video from their reunion album features Fraggles. Like, fuzzy-childhood-memories, real-live, down-at-Fraggle-Rock Fraggles.
Before you sojourn to the record store to pick up The Sound of the Life of the Mind, take some time to take in the nervy, dextrous new single “Do It Anyway”, and revel in the sight of the Five goofing off in the studio with their new fuzzy friends. And hey, if you’ve ever wanted to hear an impromptu piano rendition of the “Fraggle Rock” theme song by Ben Folds, a host of Fraggles, and a small arsenal of comic scene-stealers including Anna Kendrick, Rob Corddry, and Chris Hardwicke… well, I don’t want to spoil anything for you.
