One of the best metal songs to be released this year, “L’Enfant Sauvage” (Off Gojira’s upcoming L’Enfant Sauvage due on June 26th through Roadrunner Records) harkens back to From Mars To Sirius in the best way possible. If you were disappointed that the Sea Shepherd EP never came to fruition (It’s still supposedly coming), then the machine gun drum and guitar attack that permeates throughout “L’Enfant Sauvage” is sure to make up for it. Joe Duplantier sounds as enraged as ever and the whole of this intricate four minute little ditty indicates that L’Enfant Sauvage the album is going to be a masterpiece.
