I shouldn’t be surprised that in an age where we have trailers for trailers, there would be the need for a trailer for an album. I’m especially not surprised that the album in question is The Industrialist from LA metallers Fear Factory. The second outing from the reunited Burton Bell and Dino Cazares, The Industrialist gets back to FF’s cyber-metal roots and grandiose concept albums in the vein of Demanufacture and more appropriately 1998’s Obsolete.
The two minute teaser doesn’t say much about the man vs machine concept within but the ominous Burton Bell spoken word and the underlying sounds throughout will surely get FF fans frothing for when The Industrialist is finally released on June 5th through Candlelight.
