Pop legend Stevie Wonder will be playing Bonnaroo this year.

While I’ve been to my share of outdoor concerts, I’ve never been to a multi-day concert festival before. After looking at the lineup for the 2010 Bonnaroo music festival, that just might change.

Rolling Stone’s website published an article today listing the confirmed artists, and there are some very cool names on the list. So far, the biggest names are Jay-Z, Dave Matthews Band, Kings of Leon and Stevie Wonder. I’m probably due to check Jigga out in a live setting, and from what I hear, Kings of Leon ain’t too shabby live, either. I’ve seen Stevie and DMB live before, and they’re definitely worth seeing again (or in DMB’s case, again and again and again and again and again and…).

Other confirmed artists that I wouldn’t mind checking out live include Weezer, Mayer Hawthorne (who I’m going to see in a few weeks anyway), Norah Jones, Phoenix, Zac Brown Band, Chromeo (with Daryl Hall!!!), Kid Cudi, Jimmy Cliff and many, many more. Oh, and the Flaming Lips are performing “Dark Side of the Moon”. Depending on how much the tickets are, I might actually head down to Tennessee in June weather and brave the portapotties and hallucinogenics to catch this show.

…and there are more artists to be announced. The big rumor is that Paul Simon will be the headliner. C’mon, wouldn’t hearing thousands of people sing “50 Ways to Leave Your Lover” be wicked cool?
