Our latest show explores the family ties of R&B during the 1980s. There were a lot of families making music-together and separately. And it wasn’t just the Jacksons, DeBarges and Isleys doing it, either. I had fun putting this one together. In addition to the usual suspects, you’ll hear from the Laws family (Debra & Ronnie), the Burke family (Clarence Jr. with his Invisible Man’s Band and Keni), the husband and wife duo of Womack and Womack, and cousins Dionne & Whitney, and Cherrelle and Pebbles.
