Singer/songwriter Matt Nathanson is heading out on the road again, joined by fellow singer/songwriter dude Gavin Degraw. Mary Lambert (who sang the chorus of Macklemore’s “Same Love”) and Andrew McMahon (y’all remember Jack’s Mannequin) will also be on the bill.
Nathanson’s LP Last Of The Great Pretenders came out (if memory serves) just under a year ago, but the Bay Area resident reports that he’s already completed a new album. The first single, “Headphones” is fun, bouncy and summery. I wouldn’t be surprised if it ended up all over the radio in the next few months. Check it out here and see if he’ll be playing near you (maybe I’ll actually get on the ball and see him this time.)
