In addition to being one of the hookiest pop/rock bands around, Foster the People has a way with a video.
Their new video for “Coming of Age” doesn’t boast a super-colorful backdrop, nor does it co-star Gabourey Sidibe, but it’s a cool little tribute to the ’80s.
For a second, I was kinda weirded out by the whole ’80s tribute thing, then I remembered how many videos in the ’80s paid tribute to the ’50s and ’60s.
Anyway, the video is secondary to the song, which is pretty damn awesome. Foster the People’s second album, Supermodel, will be out 3/14.

I loved the new video! I can’t wait for March 18 so I can hear the rest of Supermodel. Have you pre-ordered it yet? It’s gonna be soooo good. 🙂 http://smarturl.it/FosterSite
