What took them so damn long?
After working together for the better part of twenty years, Babyface & Toni Braxton have finally decided to record a duets album. Their vocals have always blended well together, and ‘Face has taken enough of a vacation from performing/writing original material, that their joint album (entitled Love, Marriage & Divorce) should be a keeper.
The first single is called “Hurt You,” and it’s a decent midtempo jam. It’s not a world-shaker, but would you expect that from ‘Face and Toni anyway? It’s actually got a bit more tempo than I was expecting.
LM&D doesn’t drop until December 3rd (for real?) so until then, I guess we’ll just have to tide ourselves over with this…

Thanks! My dream album was always an acoustic Babyface / Boyz II Men mix. This will suffice for now.

Haha. That might be a little too much crying for me.

Crying and begging. And Wanya and Face trying to go toe to toe while my boy Stockman has visions of sunsets.

No hating on Visions of a Sunset. I loved that song!
