Planning to be in the Chicago area this summer? Well, you might want to schedule your trip to coincide with the 2013 Lollapalooza festival, taking place in Chicago’s Grant Park from August 2nd through August 4th.
The lineup is spearheaded by The Cure. The legendary British alternative rock band doesn’t have a new album that they’re touring behind (at least as far as I know,) but…come on, it’s The Cure! Joining The Cure at Lollapalooza will be a slew of A-list acts including label-mates (and Grammy winners) Phoenix and Mumford & Sons, plus the recently reunited Queens of the Stone Age. Also…country superstar Eric Church, rap rookie Kendrick Lamar, Court Yard Hands (whose lineup consists of 2/3 of The Dixie Chicks) and chillout act Thievery Corporation.
