I didn’t catch all of last night’s “SNL” episode, but I did get home in time to catch both Frank Ocean performances. He was joined by John Mayer (who has thankfully ditched the cowboy hats) on guitar, and…all I’ve got to say is, watch out in February, because Frank is starting to look like 2013 Adele come Grammy time. I’d say that, at the very least, Best New Artist is wrapped up.

Seth Macfarlane was a pretty good host, too. I’ve grown seriously cold on his animation work-his shows have just been around way too long to be funny anymore. But I think he’d do fantastically on sketch TV-the skits I saw were uniformly funny. Time for a slight career change, Seth?
