You thought the Bad Meets Evil album‘s release signaled the end of Eminem’s Recovery campaign?!?

(in Charlie Murphy voice): WRONG.

“Space Bound” is the 4th video from the rapper’s latest solo effort, which debuted at the top of the charts a year ago this week and has since gone on to sell close to four million copies. It’s one of the better tracks on the album, and is accompanied by a pretty solid video, directed by Em’s long-time partner in crime, Joseph Kahn.

Co-starring former adult film actress Sasha Grey, this is a fairly gripping video from a visual standpoint, although the plot device of something (usually a relationship) ending and then going backwards to the beginning of the video has been used several times before (most recently, if I remember correctly, in Maroon5’s “Goodnight, Goodnight”). Nevertheless, it’s a good watch and probably NSFW (or kids).

I don’t know if I see much of a future for Em as an actor, though. Let’s face it, a) the guy’s almost 40, b) NO one is buying him as a romantic lead, an action hero OR a thug, and c) someone needs to teach the guy to smile. Marshall, you’re a multi-millionaire! Stop being so damn serious!
