I grew up with The Muppets like most kids in the late ’70’s/early ’80’s. I loved the show (The Harry Belafonte and Peter Sellers are still two of my favorite episodes), loved the movies, loved the new shows, and loved it when they went viral.
If you didn’t see Forgetting Sarah Marshall (It’s great, by the way) then stop reading, go watch it and come back…
All done? Ok. Now you see why Jason Segel is the perfect writer/star for this.
I’ve been reading about a new Muppets movie for years it seems and to see it actually come to fruition brings so much joy to my heart. Yeah, I know that sounds cheesy, but it’s true. The movie already promises tons of cameos, delightful new songs, and The Muppets wicked sense of satire and humor. Frank Oz (Miss Piggy, Fozzie, etc…), however, will not be along for the ride this time. Check out the first trailer to get a taste.
The Muppets opens everywhere on November 23rd.

So psyched for this. I can’t believe they haven’t done anything since Muppets from Space (which was the first ‘new’ Muppet movie that I loved).
MOVIE! MOVIE! MOVIE!

Alas, the fake HTML code of “Animal voice” did not show up in my comment.
