• I put out a missing persons report for Rashard Lewis, Hedo Turkoglu, John Salmons, Richard Hamilton, Antawn Jamison and Danilo Gallinari. If anyone has seen these people please notify their loved ones and respective teams.
• Due to a virus that infected Dwight Howard, Mickael Pietrus, J.J. Redick, and Jameer Nelson the Orlando Magic’s starting lineup against the Milwaukee Bucks was Rashard Lewis, Quentin Richardson, Marcin Gortat, Vince Carter and Chris Duhon….Ouch. For their sake I hope it was only a 24-hour virus.
• I thought the crowd and the pressure would get to Miami when they went to Cleveland. Then Joey Graham was announced in the starting lineup and I remembered how much the Cavs suck.
• I am working on a top 5 and bottom 5 GM’s list. It’s harder than it seems, but rest assured Michael Jordan will be on the worst list. Here is a link to their draft picks since the team’s inception in 2004 . The only good picks were Emeka Okafor, Raymond Felton, and Jared Dudley (good for a #22 pick), all of whom have been traded to other teams. The Bobcats also consistently trade for worse players to save money. He’s no Isiah Thomas but he’s not exactly putting together a great resume either.
Make sure you guys check out Jay at The Brink of Sanity and also peep his Knicks podcast. Considering that the team looks better than they have in a decade, this guy’s gotta be on cloud nine right now.

Yeah, I was thinking the Cavs would at least give the Heat *some* kind of challenge, but that was really a butt-whipping.
That Bobcats list is pretty sad, but I’d add that the Augustin pick was a good one along with the Okafor, Felton, and Dudley picks that you mentioned. Augustin’s numbers are very solid, and every time I watch him, he’s a little dynamo.

I’m a bit surprised by how much the Cavs laid down and let the Heat run all over them. I’m also surprised that there wasn’t more bitterness towards LeBron on behalf of the Cavs players.

The only Cavs player that seemed to be angry was Varejo, he knocked Lebrons headband off and i believe threw it into the crowd. The rest of the team just layed down and got ran over.
I almost put Augustin on the list of good picks, but he was pretty bad until this season. He has been great so far this season but I want to see if he can keep it up.

Was Varejao for real about that though? Or was he just playing around with LeBron?

That I am not sure of. He didn’t look happy. I would hope someone would have stepped up, that was embarrassing.

What’s even more sad about the Cavs deal is that now that the game is over, they want to talk tough about being disrespected. Um, too late guys. It’s like a dude who walks away from a fight and talks mess after.

I haven’t followed it too closely, but that was the vibe I got. Corny.

I think everyone on the Magic need to have an intervention with Rashard to get him back on steroids.
