For me, Portishead’s Dummy was one of THOSE albums. It defined it’s genre. Chilled-out but still creepy, Geoff Barrow’s trunk-rattling production was topped off by Beth Gibbons’ voice. That VOICE. Completely awesome sauce. If I was to ever make a Top 100 albums of all time list, I’d safely say that Dummy would make it.
