No, I’m admittedly not much of a movie guy. But I have all the time in the world for anything related to the cast of Scrubs, certainly my favorite television show of the millennium and in the running for my favorite television show of all time, period.
I mentioned in a post last year that Zach Braff was seeking funding for his latest directorial effort, Wish I Was Here. Well, that project was crowd-funded almost as quickly as I could get the post out, and the first trailer for the film has surfaced.
Obviously, there are going to be comparisons to Braff’s magnum opus, Garden State (hell, Zach probably invites them by featuring The Shins-a band whose success he’s as responsible as anyone for-in the trailer.) Visually, the film looks stunning. Plus, it boasts a cast including Mandy Patinkin, Kate Hudson, Jim Parsons and…of course, the person who (inadvertently) named this very site, Donald Faison.
Wish I Was Here will be released on July 18th. I’ll be there. Will you?

I’m there! Like you, love everything Zach Braff since his “Scrubs” days. Nice to see “Chocolate Bear” alongside of Mr. Appletini himself.

This might be the first movie I see in a theater this year that’s not date-related.
