Nine Inch Nails, ‘Copy of A:’ The Singles Bar Review

If ‘Came Back Haunted,’ was the bombastic opening single in advance of NIN’s seventh studio album, then ‘Copy of A,’ flirts with the band’s beginnings and minimalist tendencies. The latter’s studio version recently ‘leaked,’ to the internet the other day and we’ve had it on repeat for the better part of the last 48 hours. We’re now less than one month out from the release of Hesitation Marks and if the online fervor and recent festival performances haven’t gotten die-hard’s into a froth, then they’re either still fawning over the QOTSA album or living under a rock. Check it out for yourself and tell us what you think…

Like the last single, this definitely nods to “Pretty Hate Machine,” which I support 100%.

Totally digging this one. More excited about a new NIN release than I’ve been in quite a while.
