It’s been a long time since I’ve been excited for anything on late night TV. Sure, Conan’s cool. Fallon’s OK, and I can hang with Letterman every now and then. But nothing has been the same since Arsenio Hall signed off in 1994, after a five year run that did much for the representation of urban culture on television.
Guess what, boys and girls? Arsenio is back this September with a new talk show! Thanks to his success on the recent version of “The Apprentice,” and a wave of nostalgia, the fist-pumping host that introduced the world to “things that make you go hmmmmm…” is making his return. Check out the horror movie-styled trailer below.
I wonder if Michael Wolff and the band will be returning, as well…

I know I’m in. I don’t think I’ve watched a full hour of late night since he left.
