Are The Fades the second coming of Killing Joke? If you know anything about me, then you know I would never make that statement lightly. “Meccano”, the first single off the upcoming Ragnarok full-length, sees the UK’s The Fades take post-punk to a whole new level.

Hypnotic with an air of controlled chaos lurking about, “Meccano” comes off as a cross between early KJ and Gang Of Four. If this is any indication of what Ragnarok will sound like, then The Fades are definitely a band you should be watching in 2012.
