If you have a case of the blahs and need to get your ass up and moving, very few acts of recent vintage do that better than Canadian dance/pop duo Chromeo. Following the success of last year’s excellent Business Casual album, the fellas are heading back on tour through the summer and fall.
Joining them on this jaunt will be their neighbor to the south, Detroit’s own Mayer Hawthorne. The smooth soul vocalist will be touring with the Chromeo guys for much of their 34-date run. Mayer is getting set to release the follow up to his critically-acclaimed (and very dope) debut album A Strange Arrangement. I caught his show about a year ago, and the man is a pretty solid showman. So in addition to getting some ass-wigglin’ action, you’ll be entertained as well!
Dates are below, as is a clip of Chromeo on “Late Night with David Letterman” from last fall.
Mayer Hawthorne will not be appearing at shows with a single star (*).

You should absolutely go to the Boston show. I saw them a few years ago and they killed. Can’t wait to see them again.
