-The latest episode (show? Whatever) pays tribute to the artists who passed away in 2016. I tried not to let things get too dark or depressing, which is kind of a difficult thing to do when your show is basically about death.
-I deviated a bit from the ‘80s-centric thrust of the show. A couple of songs from the ‘70s are included, as are a couple of songs from the ‘90s, and two songs from 2016 (David Bowie’s “I Can’t Give Everything Away” and A Tribe Called Quest’s “We The People…”)
-I’m really hoping that if I do another one of these shows at the end of this year, I won’t be able to fill two hours up without repeating artists. Repeating a LOT of artists.
-This week’s question was “what is the best thing that happened to you in 2016?” and I got some great answers from Matt, Annie, John, Jeffrey and more. I also, as usual, shouted out Secondhand Records and Radio Free Brooklyn’s Patreon page (where you can keep this great programming on air for as little as $1/month!)
Enjoy! As usual, suggestions, trivia questions and comments are greatly appreciated and encouraged!
