Random notes:
1) I met Ben Taylor once, 7 1/2 years ago. He was the first person I ever saw wearing Crocs.
2) For those who don’t know: yes, Ben Taylor is the son of James Taylor and Carly Simon. A fact that becomes incredibly obvious once you a) look at him and b) listen to him.
3) Ben has a swell new album out called Listening. “Worlds Are Made of Paper” is the latest single and video, and it’s a pretty funny clip…if you think being followed by an incredibly amorous couple is funny (which I kinda do.) Given my dislike of people who go overboard on the PDA, I’d have probably slugged the dude half of the couple about 30 seconds in, but I guess that’s why Ben made the video and I write about it, right?
