The Singles Bar: Blood Command, “Cult of the New Beat”
by Jesse on Sep 26, 2012 • 9:30 am No CommentsBlood Command do not eff around. On “Cult of the New Beat”, these Norwegian upstarts immediately come off as the second coming of Refused and with more songs like this on their upcoming Funeral Beach album (Due October 30th on Fyisk Format), it’s easy to see why. Vocalist Silje explodes like a cannon but quickly becomes a siren when the song calls for it. Backed by a powerful band that has just as much bile and vitriol to spew when needed, Silje and Blood Command have easily created one of the must have albums of 2012 with Funeral Beach.
You can also listen to the recently released “High Five For Life” single over here (And be sure to check out the digital single on Itunes featuring a cover of Fugazi’s “Merchandise”).
