"only good ol’ Middle American homophobia prevented him from winning the season."

REALLY glad to see this mentioned. It's nothing new, but I think it's worth pointing out, for the record, how dynamic and exciting a contestant Lambert was for the fledgling "Idol". There wasn't one reason for him NOT to win other than the one you mentioned.

Well Blerd....I enjoyed your review very much. But by now, as you can see....you missed out on 3 more decent tracks.Particularly "Runnin" in which Lambert displays an astonishingly lower register than we've heard from him yet, AND which contains about a 3 octave range, just within the one song.In fact, as of yesterday, that song was actually selling more singles on iTunes than any of the others. So I suggest you open that wallet and spring for the 3 bonus tracks or buy them as singles from iTunes. You'll be glad you did. Thanks! ;D

Love, Love, Love TRESPASSING. Your review was excellent, but being a school teacher, I think you should have passed out an A- instead of a B+, but that's just me. Thanks for mentioning how talented Adam is.

Love your review. How true that Adam can sing without autotune. He is fantastic for sure! ( I think your review reads more like an A to me,ha)

Totally agree with everything you said except for 1 thing...do yourself a favor and spring for the deluxe. The 3 additional tracks are heaven. "Runnin" showcases Lambert's rarely heard lower register, which is lush and powerful...wow, that voice! There is not one throw-away track on this album, but my personal favs are Shady and Runnin. Very impressive pop album!
