This Year’s Coachella Lineup Is Hipster Heaven!

After several false-alarms and Photoshopped posters, the official lineup for the 2012 Coachella Music and Arts Festival has been released. For the first time, the festival, which takes place in Indio, California, will be stretched out over two weekends; beginning April 15th-18th and finishing April 20-22nd. This is likely to accommodate for the large crowds (last year the the attendance record was estimated at about 100,000 people) that travel world-wide for the outdoor festival. Pass The Popcorn: “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey”

The first trailer for the “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” was released this week and it can be described in one word: EPIC. The film acts as a prequel to the J.R.R. Guillermo del Toro also joins the team as one of the film’s co-writers, and it’ll definitely be interesting to see his take on this well-known fantasy story. The film was shot in […]

I can’t really explain why- I think partially it was because I was listening to some of the albums released last year still (because Sufjan Stevens’ Age of Adz is still my favorite from 2010), and the other reason is probably because I tend to procrastinate when it comes to buying/listening to new albums anyway. For example: Bon Iver’s self-titled release (which is on the […]

Pass The Popcorn: “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn”

As you’re probably already aware of, the latest Twilight movie, “Breaking Dawn: Part 1” was recently released in theaters. The fourth (and second to last) movie in the Twilight Saga tells the story of vampire, Edward Cullen, and his mortal fiancée, Bella Swan, finally tying the knot. Since I have this sort of OCD thing going where I can’t start a series without finishing it (so yes, I’m admitting that I’ve seen all the other Twilight movies…shut up), I went […]
