The men of Beta Play have been up to a lot in the couple of years since their last album. For one thing, they…uh, changed their name to Beta Play. Formerly Tommy & The High Pilots, they decided a fresh moniker was in order. For another thing, they toured with everyone from Plain White T’s (who they are hitting the road with again) to Toad The Wet Sprocket. They’ve also recorded a new EP and executed a successful campaign through Pledgemusic. The EP drops today, and they’re celebrating the release (along with frontman Tom Cantillon’s birthday) with a video for the single “Electric 22”.
