About a month ago, musical icon Janet Jackson announced that she was releasing a new album and going on tour following a seven year hiatus. While her fans patiently await new music, Janet has blessed us with the dates for her tour, which is dubbed “Unbreakable”. This tour, whether by coincidence or by design, shares its name with the leadoff track from Invincible, the 2001 effort that wound up being her brother Michael’s final studio album.

The North American tour kicks off in Vancouver August 31st and wraps up with two shows in Hawaii in November. A presale actually starts today, while the general on-sale for tickets begins next Monday.

You can get more info on Janet’s tour and upcoming project here, including a variety of pre-sale options featuring vinyl, CDs and more.
