Supa-DJ/producer Mark Ronson has a new album coming out in January called Uptown Special. Having worked with everyone from Ghostface Killah to Boy George in the past, Ronson teams up with pop’s it-boy, Bruno Mars, for the party-licious new single and video “Uptown Funk.”
Equal parts Minneapolis and Ohio (word to Roger Troutman,) “Uptown Funk” is an irresistible jam that bears a slight resemblance to Mars’ recent hit “Treasure.” Would love to see Bruno record an entire album in this vein. Dude is one of the most talented young cats out right now.
