Here at Popblerd HQ, we are big fans of power-pop duo Iamdynamite. In line with duos like The White Stripes and The Black Keys, Chris and Chris (the members of IAD) raise an unholy (yet tuneful) racket, which is quite impressive for only two people.
The third video from their Supermegafantastic album (that’s the title as well as an apt description of their music) is “Hey Girl.” The black and white clip finds the boys on a rescue mission in the wilds of Las Vegas. Their roadie, Spike, appears as a kidnapper (?), a boombox gets destroyed, and for the first time in an Iamdynamite video, there is something resembling an explosion!
