I’m trying to figure out who California duo Touche’s latest single, “Wild Horses,” reminds me of. There’s definitely a taste of the mellow sound that’s associated with acts like Sade, Everything but the Girl, or Thievery Corporation. Hell, “Wild Horses” compares favorably to some of the more uptempo tracks on one of my favorite recent albums, Rhye’s “Woman.” Whoever they remind me of, I’m digging the downtempo electronic sound and chilled-out vocals.

Touche’s debut EP, It’s Fate, comes out on May 1st. Judging from a couple other songs I heard, this might be a good’un all the way through. In addition to the release of their album, Touche will be on tour with Twin Shadow, for what should make for one of the more danceable shows of the year. Check out tour dates below!
