I was fortunate enough to check out Donald Fagen during the Dukes of September tour last year. He, along with Michael McDonald and Boz Scaggs, tore shit up. Following the release of his excellent album Sunken Condos, I wondered if Steely Dan would ever tour again.

Well, guess what, Dan fans? Fagen and his cohort Walter Becker are hitting the road again for a trek they’ve called Mood Swings: 8 Miles to Pancake Day. I don’t know what the fuck any of that means, but it means that the Rock ‘n Roll Hall of Fame duo, now in their sixties, will be lighting up the concert trail again.

I wonder if there’s a new album on the way-a new Steely Dan record would be the tits.
