I don’t have too much more to say other than what I’ve already written in several of my reviews this year. There’s been a mix of sultry chanteuses, 90’s rock heroes coming back around again, some sludge-rock/pop, and some indie pop in my heavy rotation for the first half of the year. I am looking forward to new albums by Soundgarden, Calexico, Bloc Party, Black Light Burns, Crystal Castles, Dinosaur Jr, Yeasayer, Toadies, Raveonettes, The Whigs and Murder By Death. Things I’m not looking forward to? New Limp Bizkit, Green Day, Muse, Skrillex. (I don’t even know if that freak is putting anything new out…I’d just rather he didn’t…)
