The folks at BET must really want Kim Kardashian to appear on their awards show this year.

The bootylicious socialite’s beau, Kanye West, leads the nominations field for the video channel’s 2012 award show, with seven nods. Most come for his full-length collaboration with Jay-Z, Watch the Throne. No surprise, then, that Jigga Man is the second most nominated artist, pulling in six nods. Keeping it in the family, the next most nominated artist is Jay’s wife Beyonce, whose name is up for contention five times. Why not just have the show at the Carter family house?

Other multiple nominees include Chris Brown, Lil’ Wayne, and Common, who has double duty, nominated for the adult-oriented Centric award as well as for Best Male Actor.

Brown and Nicki Minaj are the first performers announced for the show, which will air July 1st at the Shrine Auditorium in L.A.
