One of my favorite bands to emerge from the “Nu-metal” era, American Head Charge have been resurrected at last and released their first new single in over seven years. However, if you remember the visceral brutality of The War Of Art and The Feeding then “Sugars Of Someday” is going to throw you.

Off the upcoming Interstice EP, “Sugars…” is definitely a stretch for AHC “normalcy” because of the the style and structure but if anything it proves that the dynamic duo of Chad Hanks and Cameron Heacock are still a team to be reckoned with. And if you listen closely, you can still hear the AHC madness peaking through.

“Sugars Of Someday” is available now through ItunesInterstice will be released later in 2012
