Another hot joint for the summer.
Dres and Jarobi (I don’t need to explain who these dudes are anymore, do I?) have been dropping gems (as EvitaN) since last fall. “Who Is This” finds the two spitting some intelligent grown man-type stuff over a head-nodding beat. Not to take food out of the next man (or woman)’s mouth, but shouldn’t we be hearing this on the radio instead of…I don’t know, anything they play on hip-hop radio these days?
De La’s already dropped a solid album this year. I’m hearing rumors that there’s a Q-Tip joint on deck. With EvitaN dropping this summer, I’m feeling a full-on Native Tongues comeback on the way. And the songs that they’ve blessed us with so far aren’t even gonna be on the album. If these are the tracks that didn’t make the final cut-I’m super excited to hear what the whole joint sounds like.
