I won’t bore you with the tales of my sadness in not being able to get tickets for Fiona Apple’s recent performance at the Royale in Boston. Particularly since the moody chanteuse has announced a whole new set of dates–a real tour in support of her upcoming fourth album, whose title is way too fucking long and I’m not gonna reprint here.

The Idler Wheel is wiser than the Driver of the Screw, and Whipping Cords will serve you more than Ropes will ever do.

I have no idea what that means, but I’m sure the music will be great.

The album releases on June 26th, the same date Fiona kicks her tour off in Ithaca, NY. Fiona will crisscross the country over the next month, with stops in major hubs such as NYC, Detroit and Chicago. Check out the full schedule below.
