I’ll admit to not paying too much attention to the modern dance music scene, but there’s still a handful of names I recognize. One of them is Miguel Migs. The San Francisco native has remixed records for just about everyone. Running the gamut from Britney Spears to Lionel Richie, Migs is a giant in his genre.

For his upcoming album, Migs has recruited an eclectic group of artists ranging from reggae legends Half Pint & Capleton to neo-soul pioneer Meshell Ndegeocello and bossa nova chillout favorite Bebel Gilberto. The first single, “Everybody”, features the still-enticing vocals of disco/R&B legend Evelyn “Champagne” King. Nearly three decades after her run of hits (that included “Shame”, “I’m in Love” and “Love Come Down”), Evelyn still has the goods (if you didn’t already figure that out when you watched her “Unsung” episode on TVOne a couple of weeks ago.

The LP version of “Everybody” is available as a FREE download on Amazon mp3, and you can also give a listen to the Nav Azadi remix right here! It may only be Monday, but that doesn’t mean you can’t dance like it’s Friday!
