The more I read about Moby’s Destroyed project, the more interested I am in it.

The album, which has a May 17th release date, will be accompanied by a book of photographs Moby took while touring the world. He seems like a guy who’d have a good eye for photos (whatever that means), and although I don’t buy photo books as a matter of course, I’m sure the book will be entertaining to those who do.

You might wanna check out this New York Times interview with Moby, in which the typically frank entertainer discusses the stories behind his recording the album (moody electronic music? I can hang with that) and also gives readers a look at his Hollywood home.

Also-if you go to Moby’s website you can not only stream the album, but you can take a look at some of the photographs that inspired songs on the album. I didn’t listen to the whole thing, but I did like what I heard. Definitely a candidate for further investigation!
