Stevie Nicks is certainly one of the more unique vocalists (and frontpeople) of the rock era. Whether singing with Fleetwood Mac, appearing as a support or background vocalist, or performing on her own, she has a sound that can’t really be duplicated.
Stevie’s first solo album, In Your Dreams, comes out next week, and she’s just released the first video from the project, entitled “Secret Love”. In recorded form, the song actually rocks a little harder than it did when I saw her in concert earlier this year. The video features appearances from former bandmate Mick Fleetwood, album producer Dave Stewart and…a horse. It’s filled with Stevie’s signature theatrical moves and was actually recorded at Nicks’ house. How’s that for maintaining a budget?
